Bella sighed not sure what to do next. She was young and free but not sure how to react to life. Her mum and dad had gone on holiday and left beautiful Bella by herself to think and react to the world. She sighed lightly and looked around her room. She hadn't seen lor since she had left hogwarts. It was just one of the weekends she had off. She sighed and pulled on a black skirt, a lime green tank, and black high heels. She sighed and pulled her hair into a fishtail braid and sighed. She decided she wanted some ice cream. She sighed and walked out of the door and towards her destination. Diagon alley wasn't that far from her house. She sighed and looked towards her neighbors house. It seemed still and quiet. She sighed knowing Lor was probably out with his daughter some where.

She sighed and kept walking and without thinking she somehow made it to diagon alley fast. she sighed and walked through the square towards the ice cream parlor. She walked into the doors and up to the counter. She looked at all of the ice cream choices she had and sighed. She looked at the cashier and pointed towards the double mint dark chocolate. She smiled as the lady handed her her cup and she walked off.

Walking out the doors she spotted a table in the shade and walked walked over to it. She pulled her bag up and pulled out her notebook and began writing. She sighed lightly and began to take a bite of her ice cream. She drew a heart on her parchement and began to write to a boy she was in love with but everytime she wrote his name she sighed.

Lorcan smiled at the little girl waiting at the door for him. He had promised Ice cream after he did a little bit of shopping. He had gotten her a few cute outfits and some coloring books. He wanted to give Sophia a good life and everything she needed to survive when he was away at school. He hated leaving her at home when he went school only two more years and he would never have to leave his angel again. There was another angel in his life that he was to chicken to ask out maybe this year would be different but he had to make sure that Sophia would be okay. Smiling at his daughter he walked over to Sophia and picked her up. “Ready to go?” he asked as she hugged him.

”Dada Dada cn we sii iza?” Lorcan stopped and thought about what he heard his little girl say she had just started to talking and her first words were dada but she seemed to be learning words at a fast rate he was so proud of her. He nodded to say yes as he opened the door and carried her out into the street he was going to get the ice cream first then walk to Izabella's house to see what his best friend was doing today. His mom had said that her parents were on a vacation and that he should ask her over if she wanted to. Looking at Sophia he wondered if the little girl liked Izabella maybe she did after all she was asking for the girl.

He walked into the ice cream shop got a kid size vanilla ice cream thanking the lady and putting Sophia down and watched her run wobble out the door. Following her only to stop at the door and watched as Sophia found Izabella he was in shock and it took him a minute to come around.

”Iza..Iza” Sophia called out as she ran to the older girl and hugged her leg. Lorcan finally started to walk over before he sat next to Izabella “Hey” he said as he smiled at Sophia as she let go of Bella and sat in between them and started to eat her ice cream happily.

Bella smiled as she heard the sweet sound of the one little girl that made her day. she looked up and right into the face of a precious little girl. As Sophia hugged her leg she heard another voice. The voice of her best friend. She looked up into lorcans face and smiled. She watched the two sit themselves down as Bella smiled deeply. She smiled and took another bite of her favorite ice cream. she smiled and looked at lor and Sophia. She smiled and spoke.

"sophia how's my beautiful princess today? Oh and I bought you some thing yesterday"

She smiled towards the baby and was real excited about the words Sophia was picking up real quick. She smiled brightly and looked at her then looked up to see the little girls father. She was in love with not only the little girl but the father of said little girl. She smiled towards him and then looked away. It was so hard to hide her feelings around him.

"hey lor. How have you been?"

Short and simply as she always was around him. She smiled lightly and took another bite of her ice cream then realized she still had her notebook out. She shuffled to put it hack in her bag and smiled brightly back towards him like the notebook was no big deal.

Sophia happily and quietly eating her ice cream. Smiling up at Bella before going back to her ice cream. Lorcan smiled as he watched if he didn't know any better his little sweet Sophia was trying to tell something. Maybe she wanted Bella around more often just like he did. He didn't want to push motherhood on Bella and he didn't know how she felt about him in the first place. Sitting there he looked around not sure what to do if he looked at her to long he was afraid that she would get creep out.

Sophia giggled as she looked up at her father most thought that she was his little sister but Sophia knew he was her daddy. Lorcan watched as Bella pushed her notebook back in her bag and her smiled he loved her smile. He loved everything about Bella but he could just blurt out that he has loved her for the longest time. Even when he was dating Sophia's mother. “Hmm Bella I...” god this was so lame he couldn't get out the words to tell her that he wanted to be with her.

Iza..dada..luv..iza... Sophia struggled to say as she smiled up at the older girl. Lorcan's mouth dropped in shock did his little girl just rat him out. He smiled at his daughter quickly so the little one didn't think she was in trouble. “I think that means she likes you” he said nervously. He took a breath and looked around trying to hide the blush in his cheeks as he wondered what she was thinking part of him wanted to know what she was going to say could this be the moment that he finds out if Bella loved him and didn't mind he had a daughter? He was holding his breath almost not sure what to say until he just decided.

“Mother wanted me to ask if you wanted to stay with us while your family was away. Sophie would love it if you said yes." Sophie sat there clapping.

She smiled at Sophia and laughed as she said she loved her. She smiled and kissed Sophia's little head. She reached into her hag and pulled out a little pocket. It was pink and on a white gold chain. She smiled and handed it to Lorcan. She smiled towards him and then towards Sophia. She loved that little girl as if she was her own. She smiled brightly and looked at Lorcan again.

"i love you to Soph, more then you can imagine. I gave daddy a pocket for you to wear when you get older, you can always wear it and I'll always be with you inside that pocket."

She sighed knowing the little girl probably didn't understand her but she was explaining it for Lorcan really. She smiled then heard Lorcan speak. Asking if she would stay with them till her parents got back. She smiled and thought about the question. She knew Luna and Her husband pretty well. Auntie Luna as she always called her was her dads best friend from school. She smiled and nodded lightly.

"where would I stay? Isn't Sophia in the spare room already? I don't think she would sleep if i stayed in the room with her, and staying on the couch would be a negative. You know how bad my back is after sleeping on a couch......"

She rambled off feeling like she was trying to stop from telling him how she really felt about him. She sighed wishing she could tell him she wanted to help him raise Sophie. She sighed once more then looked at him and smiled.

Lorcan took a breath of relief as it seemed that Bella didn't hear what Sophie had really said. He might not like this I can talk now she'll say again on her mind or at least try. He loved his daughter so he was sure things would be okay she was still really little and most people didn't listen to the things a year old said. He watched his daughter and couldn't image life without her it was sad he lost the mother of Sophia but he would always try to tell her stories of the girl so Sophia would know her mother too. Even if he was not in love with the girl he would never speak ill of the girl that gave him Sophie. Shaking his head he pushed those thoughts out of his head and looked up at Bella.

He smiled as he took the gift that Bella had gotten for Sophie, he was amazed at how much the two girls loved each other, but why wouldn't Sophie love Bella. Bella had been there since Sophia was born. Lorcan didn't realize til now how much Bella had impacted his little girls life. “This was really nice of you Bell but you didn't need to because as far as I am concerned you will always be in Sophia's life” he said softly but loud enough for her to hear. “I'll keep it safe for her” he added as he placed it in one of the bags her had with Sophia's stuff in it.

“She will be two soon” he said as if he couldn't believe it. She was growing up so fast. “Bella, Mom said you can stay in my room and I'll be in Sophia's on the couch in there.” he smiled of course he had thought about what she would need in order to get you to say yes to staying there. He knew Bella better than anyone. “And really can you say no to Mom?” he laughed as he thought about it. He wanted to so badly ask Bella out but he couldn't he didn't want to make her uncomfortable in anyway.

Sophia got down and started to whine. Lorcan knew that whine and started to dig through the diaper bag pulling out a doll and handing it to her. She hugged it tightly smiling as she sat under the table.

Bella smiled at the little girl. She then looked at Lor and listened to him talk about her being in Sophia's life for awhile. She smiled brightly then looked at the little girl. This girl was her princess Bella's entire world. She smiled brightly and looked at her. She kissed her head again then looked at Lorcan. She sighed and took a bite of her ice cream. She was depressed to say he didn't love her. It was true because he would have told her by now.

"i hope to be around forever. But after school there is nothing but false hopes keeping me out of auror training."

She smiled when he told her about the staying arrangements. She sighed and looked around and then back to him. She would love to spend more time with him. She smiled and took another bite of her icecream and sighed. she wasnt going to get out of this so she nodded her head.

"Yes i will stay with you. But I I i nevermind"

Lorcan knew Bella well and knew that she was not telling him something but he couldn't hold that against her because there were things he hasn't said to he was trying but he was so scared of rejections and ruining his friendship with the girl that sat next to him. Watching Sophia play he smiled this little girl deserved happiness and he was to scared to have her get used to Bella if they were not going to work out. But he deserved to be happy too maybe he should just say it he will never know if she really loved him. He was the guy maybe she was waiting for him?

Bella..I...” he stopped as he heard her say that she was going to leave after school his heart broke will she really leave him after school if they were together? And he really didn't want to stop her from her dreams. He didn't know what to say he was hurt it was like he knew the answer she didn't like him if she did she wouldn't be planing on leaving. Sighing he looked at Sophia she was going to be so sad when Bella left maybe it wasn't a good thing that he let her get so close. “I don't know what to say” he said admitting that he was lost and showing he had a hint of sadness in his tone.

Sophia clapped as she looked at them but frowned as she looked at her father. “Dada...” looking at Bella and pouted. “Dada Lke Iza, Dada Lke Iza, Dada Lke Iza!” she said over and over again would the older girl understand her.

“You know that my mom won't take no for an answer.” he said hiding the sadness in his eyes. He would always love her but maybe telling her was wrong.
