Earning House points are crucial part of being a student at Hogwarts. You're points ultimately lead to House Cup, and those students who have worked hard and behaved while doing so will surely come out as the winner of The House Cup!
Distributing/taking House Points Points.
Only Professors are able to dispute and take away house points from students. Their judgment can be one-sided though, and not by the person playing them only by the teacher!
Example- Slughorn is the head of the Slytherins so he might be more towards awarding Slytherin points than other students.
Example of wrongly taken/given points- I really like -Insert username- She/he is a great role player! I'll give them 10 points for nothing.
Points for Joining the Site.
Depending upon the house in which we decide to place your made-up character into that house will receive 5 points. Though if you decide to join as one of the canons listed that house will receive 10 points for joining and having their character profile accepted.

Q: Why do Canon characters receive more points than Made-up Characters?
A: Because here on Sites Name we have a wide selection of Canon characters open for everyone to choose from. Plus we're trying to encourage people to join as Canons.
Q: How do I earn House Points?
A: To earn House Points your characters must be well behaved, and sometimes even simply answering a question correct in class.
Q: How do I report abuse for point giving?
A: To report an abuse of point giving you should PM an Admin and send a link with the thread so we can check it and see if you're accusations are true.

Yes we give points for advertising our site. Each time you advertise Live Like Your Dying your house or house alumni will get five points added to it.

Yes posting gets you house points. The more your word count is the more house points you get. If you get in between house just go up like example. Albus Potter word count 654 then total house points would be 55. Anything above 950 but below 1000 is 85. Word counts above 1000 is 100 points.
